Oesterberge is so beautiful that you don’t really need to go anywhere else!

- Special hiking trips, e.g. to the „Plästerlegge“ waterfalls, to the giant’s bench in Reiste, to prehistoric site „Wilzenberg“ near Grafschaft, witches` trail in Oberkirchen…
- Deer park in Warstein with a lovely playground in the woods and a cave
- „Bruchhauser Steine“ in Olsberg (giant volcanic stones / prehistoric site) and adjacent summer tobbogan run

- Arnsberg’s medieval city center and castle ruin

- climbing hill „Aventura“ in Medebach
- Open-air swimming pool in Grevenstein with sand-and-water playground
- Lake „Einberg“ in Wenholthausen – my recommendation for happiness! Hardly known, with a nice lodge to stop for a bite and a drink
- Lake “Hennesee”, with an excursion boat (from april to october)
Oesterberge is situated right in the middle between both lakes with hiking trails leading there. By car, you can also visit lake „Sorpe“ and lake “Möhne”.

Our neighbouring village of Wenholthausen – 5 minutes by car, 25 minutes by hiking trail – is a culinary “hotspot” in Sauerland. There are five excellent restaurants with cosy beer gardens to choose from.
